Im from the uk and am onyx 2065 in ffa. I cant get matches. I work so cant play during day and in evening cant get matches on focused. On expanded i get crushed due to ridiculous latency where shots never register and grenade animations are 2 seconds late. And balanced is just as bad. My kda is demolished due to unplayable matches. What can i do? Feel like im being forced to quit this game as i cant compete on usa servers and there are few players in my area at my rank. Any suggestions are welcome!
Although i’m not nearly as high ranked in ffa as you are, i know how you feel, it’s the same for me but i can only find games on expanded, not even balanced.
And guess what, i get matched up against champions and high onyx ONLY, i don’t feel like playing ffa anymore.
This -Yoinked!- my kda up just as bad.
But hey, i don’t have a team so make me go into team playlist’s with randoms that sounds fun !
I suggest moving to the states, but truthfully it’s not much better over here. Focused matches are comprised of mostly unranked players. Worse still is I’ve played opponents as high as level 146, and I’m only level 59, FFA Diamond 5. The matchmaking in H5 is a joke and no matter what you do there is no winning.
I know what you guys mean. I dont even get games on balanced now 
its frustrating cos im never gonna get champ if i cant get matches and expanded means losing my hard earned csr to any rank cos of the severe latency. With the awful placement system i always get lumped down in diamond when some champs do worse than me against same onyx 2000 players and get onyx 1700. One player i know get placed plat 4 beating onyx 2000 7 out of 10 games. Its pathetic. So i need the games to catch up but i cant even get them so it grows. I feel like the system is seriously fixed against me and bravo takes no interest either. Feel like quitting cos there is no incentive now
I feel your pain. The system needs to be seriously revamped. Placement matches are a waste of time and don’t even accomplish what there supposed to. On top of that, those of us with families and responsibilities that struggle to get 10+ hrs a week to play will always be held back by -Yoinking!- resets. I’m trying like hell just to break into onyx. Too bad the servers can’t handle the region gap. I’d love to run Doubles with you…while it’s up at least.
I’m playing out of Australia and find no issues under Expanded search - it finds matches and I’m on Onyx still winning matches
I wish expanded didnt give me such bad connection. Sometimes its ok and i can beat most onyx 1800s on any rubbish connection but at 2000 level to champion its getting a bit much when my shots are a second behind everyone elses on screen and grenades even longer. I just cant be competitive and i feel skill wise i wouldnt be far off champ (i got to no 417 before i started strughling to get matches on focused and non laggy expanded matches to even get a game).
Triple Tap i would always play with you dude. I will check if we are friends so we can play soon 
and that first grind to onyx is brutal. Took me 100 games the first time but now it takes less time. I think you always retain some of your gained mmr each season to make life easier.
