I have 2 sets of 4 spawn objects (the standard set of 4 with camera) per team, all designated to the correct team. I also have a load of neutral respawn objects, and some initial spawn objects (for FFA).
For some reason I can play with a full team on Team Eagle, but only one player spawns in fir the other team. Can anyone think of something I could have missed?
u should try placing Player Starting Points. they look a lot like player respawn point, except they have a little hologram on top of the respawn point thing.
u need to put some Player Starting Points on the other teams base, and make sure that u set the player starting points to Team 2 (Cobra)
u probably have a whole bunch of Team 1 (Eagle) starting points and only 1 Cobra starting point.
I have several player start points (initial spawn objects) already, which are neutral fir use in FFA. I also have two team spawn points fir each team, correctly assigned to each team. Do you have to also supply separate start points assigned to each team.in addition?
I’ve tried all you suggested, and still it seems inconsistent. Sometimes there’s only one enemy spawning in with my team at full capacity but in my latest test, only I spawned on with nobody else at all!!
I play ALOT of CTF. When I make my spawns I always put in the initial spawns first then I put my re-spawns 2nd. I NEVER put in Neutral spawns in any of my maps. In my maps when you die you always re-spawn at your base!
I’m running into a similar problem and I think it stems from the neutral ffa spawns. They just don’t work like I would want them to. I think in FFA players will spawn on the team spawns so you could probably just add a few very neutral spawns around the middle of the map. On my Rats nest as soon as a team is full pushed to the other side spawns swap. That’s great for team slayer. Not great for CTF.
I had the same problem playing another community map. 7 bots plus me on my team, but one bot on cobra.
Ok in a new map I would suggest that you “DELETE ALL SPAWNS” and then put in your initial spawns then put in your re-spawns where you want. There is a “DELETE ALL” area in the object menu. Just highlight the spawn then the object area towards the bottom of the list you will see delete all and then hit your ESC to remove menu then hit your delete key.
This way will be able to put in respawns and your initial spawns where you like. Just make sure you select the team for your spawns in the same area in the menu.

I am running into this same issue.
I can make a big team CTF match work just fine.
I set it to Team Eagle: ME, + 7 bots…
Team Cobra: 8 bots.
In CTF, I enjoy a full balanced match…
But in BTB Slayer, ALL BOTS but one migrate to my team.
I have NO idea how it’s happening, or what to do about it.
I don’t know if it’s just a bot issue because I’ve had the same problem on other people’s maps when testing them with bots.
With my experience in my custom forge maps in CTF gametype the bots a really stupid. All they do is play defenece at their base. That why I don’t like bots. I really like to play the game with real people not bots.
Yeah, me too. I just wanted to use bots to test whether the maps are working properly or not.
I still can’t get BTB bots to work. It just won’t spawn even teams… either I get one on the other team, or I get loads on the othercteam and none on my team. THis is a real problem, because it means I can’t tell if my.maps work with more players. I’ve done what folk suggested with the spawns and still no lick.
