So the update dropped and I went straight over go forge, but it says I can’t launch it because of my online safety settings which I don’t understand since I can go online and play matchmaking.

Same here, its a total bummer I was really looking forward to forge.
Yeah, im getting the same thing. My settings are set to allow everything and ive changed all the settings to test them but still get the same message. I tried resetting the Xbox as i usually find things go a bit funny after an update but it didnt help. Im pretty sure its a bug. Must be incorrectly reading the safety settings or some such, Hope 343 patches it soon.

Its letting me in now, finally. Dont know what changed but it seems to have sorted itself out.
It’s not working for me either, I’ve changed my setting to allow nearly everything allowed and still doesn’t work… I was so hyped for forge mode but it doesn’t work and I can’t check out other people’s creations using file share.
I don’t know what’s going on either and I’ve changed all my settings but nothing’s happening. What can I do now?!

I found out a while ago, set your privacy settings to adult preferences. If you aren’t an adult yourself, you need an adult account to change it for you.
