I can’t find one game on Halo Wars 2 on PC, blitz or otherwise…
Having the same issue. Waiting 20 minutes at a time and no games in Blitz. PC as well. I’ve gotten a rare occasional game but for the most part has been like this since I started playing a few weeks ago.
Any chance you get a “Network Error” when you try to log in?
check your firewall settings… if your on pc LOAD up the xbox app then on the bottom left of the left side of the app’s tabs go to settings and go to network and run the test… it will tell you if a firewall is still on… if your running off 2 Ethernet ports at onece like I am, your gonna need to go into your router and DMZ (or forward the ports) to the MAIN ETHERNET port on your PC for example Ethernet connection 1 or plain Ethernet connection. it will say its in DMZ but if your running double Ethernet its not true you have to manually demilitarize the Zone or forward the ports to get true NAT restriction FREE… its always been a issue with halo wars since its actualy PVP not Player to network/server then to other player. I find games a lot except in 3 v 3 blitz I have YET to find ONE SINGLE 3 v 3 blitz game which truly makes me upset.
I turned off Firewall and still got the error. I didn’t expect it to help, this error has vanished and reooccured with each successive update. They are clearly messing with things behind the scenes and not telling people. I sorted my NAT months ago (took me a lot of time to figure out) and got the Terudo stuff working, so I have an open NAT through Xbox Live (used to be moderate).
So to confirm, it worked before the last update, doesn’t work not (the update before the last update it didn’t work either, but it worked before THAT update), It doesn’t currently work with Firewall on OR off. My NAT is open through Xbox Live.
Yeah, thanks, I contacted support, and I’m getting a moderate NAT type with my new router and that seems to be the problem… Going to have to figure that out I guess.
It’s pretty frustrating that this is happening to me as well. I honestly haven’t been able to connect to a multiplayer game after day one of launch. All my Xbox settings line up on the network, I just get nothing for multiplayer matches. Makes me real upset for preordering the ultimate edition if I can’t even play it.

it worked for me (I was having the Code 10 error). Here’s the thing though: I did this a few weeks ago successfully, but it disappeared from my device manager at some stage. I just recently reinstalled it there. Maybe it has something to do with the fact I am getting the Network Error again? I’ll chime in if it fixes my error,
No dice. Funnily enough, I am showing up as blocked in Xbox App server connectivity, even though my LAN is open. Thoughts?

Can you play other games against people online?
In the xbox app (on PC) my NAT type is Open, which I assume is good. Everything looks good but still not able to find matches in Blitz (haven’t tried other modes much but no luck when I did). I don’t get any errors, just searching for basically forever. I have on rare occasion gotten a match but it is very rare. Waiting longer does not appear to increase the probability that I will get matched. Is this a common problem on the PC or do most people get matches in a reasonable amount of time?
