Can't find games on a new account?

Okay so I finally caved and spent the necessary five minutes to make my brother an Xbox Live account so he’d finally stop asking to play mine and ruining my ranks. But when he searches for a game, with all the options set to find matches quickly, not one single playlist turned up a single game. Every single playlist was apparently dead. He could join games in the custom browser without a problem, but no matchmaking. I jumped onto my account and found a Warzone game immediately.

Please help, he won’t leave me alone.

Try hard resetting your Xbox.

Maybe because it was a totally new account, the matchmaking system is having a hard time placing him in games?

How long was he searching in each playlist? Was he searching by himself?
