Cant Find Games after ANZ region lock has lifted

Since the region lock on the Australia and New Zealand region has been lifted, I am still unable to find games. The rest of the community is enjoying fast matchmaking and finding games instantly whilst I can only find matches at peak hours still, and even then i can wait up to 40 minutes to find a match… someone please help me!!

The only thing I can think of is to make sure your NAT is set to Open. For some reason I think there was another person from your area having the same problem. Unless it was you. lol But other than that I honestly don’t know why you cant find games… Again check your NAT. Maybe others will chime in here that might know.

yeh my NAT is open, ive port forwarded my xbox and even set a DMZ host (others from western australia have done the same thing) and we still cant find matches… its almost like they left region lock on for parts of Western Australia

I was reliably informed that NAT settings are unimportant for dedicated servers. I normally play on open at home but played for the previous two weeks on strict and am currently playing on moderate and it has been connecting no problem. I’m in Europe but NAT setting will not be the issue.

Any idea of what the issue could be? There are a number of others suffering from the same issue in Western Australia and there seems to be no way to fix it  perhaps we really are still region locked?

I’m in Victoria and have fiber internet and played for the first time in ages today and got a high latency issue. I was just like O.o…
In the month I’ve had off from Halo a whole lot seems to have gone downhill.

-Req system failing is worse than ever.
-Quitting in game in all modes is worse than ever.
-Poor sportsmanlike attitude/tactics are employed more than ever before (camping spawn points, organized teams obviously in parties playing a manner to take advantage of the other team clearly not being in communication, etc.)
-My perfect internet apparently having connection errors now days.
-very very late game join in progress seems common now.
