cant find blood gulch

i havent done much in multiplayer just yet but i did wander around each of the levels. and i have a question.

sence the start, halo CE. the level bloodgulch, has gone through many changes. most graphical updates and naming differences, but it has been in EVERY halo game to date. however i am unable to find it in this one.

the closes i have come to is the level ragnarok. however after playing it and running around it its obviously not the same as blood gulch.

so my question is this, is ragnarock 343’s version of it? because to be honest, if it is. im very dissapointed. its a small map with a lot of stuff, but its FAR FROM the bloodgulch layout.

secondly, if it is in fact not in the game, are they going to release it in a map pack later or something?

and another caviot, do any of you guys know a forge world with lots of open space. i built a recreation of LOCKOUT from halo 2 while playing halo reach, and i will be working on doing it again for halo 4. what level would you reccomend that i do it in?

when was it in Halo 3…:stuck_out_tongue: seriously though if it will be available i could see it in a map pack

i take it you never played halo 3…ragnarok is a valhalla remake from halo 3…Valhalla was halo 3s replacement for bloodgultch.

Ragnarok is a remake of Valhalla from Halo 3, which itself is considered a spiritual successor to Blood Gulch. However, there is no law specifically requiring a version of Blood Gulch to be in every Halo game. It’s worn out, overdone, and we need to move on from it. So don’t expect to see it anymore.
