Can't even forge because the servers are messed up

Seriously who’s idea was it to make everything but single player campaign require a server? I can’t boot up a custom to test -Yoink- out, I can’t forge. Can you even watch theater offline? This is ridiculous and I hope they can patch an offline mode for at least forge because I don’t want to have to rely on their servers to make a map

Yea, it stinks. I hope they patch this as well.

From here…

> Hey everyone, checking into this thread to let you know that the team is aware of these reports and investigating root cause. After some work last night (mostly adding some additional capacity), it looked like things were normalizing for most, but we’re well aware of reports this morning / today, and folks here are working to get things back to green across the board for all players. As a note, if you haven’t hard reset your console (holding down power button for 5 seconds), since yesterday, please do so as this may improve a variety of scenarios.

They’re working on the server issues. It’s effecting all modes of play.

This is why having thing always online is stupid. Hopefully this won’t be the case with Halo 6.

Unfortunately, I don’t think this is a trend that will ever be reversed. It seems that this is a common approach for most net gen (current gen now) systems.

I understand that they are working on the server issues and I’m glad they’re on top of things I just wish forge had an offline mode so we didn’t have to depend on the servers. Unless there’s some technical reason it always has to be online.

You know the one big reason they put Forge for online, is so that they could have the massive amount of items and customization for maps? There is no other game on the Xbox that has the amount of map customization has Halo, and that’s because it’s connected to a server so that it can be hosted for all the data running through it.

Interesting… I wasn’t aware of this but thanks for informing me. In that case I retract my earlier statement.

Dang it, my opinion just changed! I hate it when that happens!

I like to keep an open mind
