I’m getting so frustrated! If I ever complete this mission on legendary, How the hell am I going to complete the rest…Doing this alone btw. God, I suck at halo.
I’ve beaten the first two missions so far on solo Legendary, haven’t started the 3rd yet. This Halo is a lot harder than the last few games. It has kill times similar to that of Halo 2 shudders at the thought of Halo 2 Legendary
Sucks to suck. This was the 3rd easiest Legendary campaign ever, IMO.
I am on mission 8 on my solo run. It’s really not that hard dude.
I agree that the single player is more difficult then Halo 4, It isn’t that hard.
I cleared Legendary last Saturday. Just gotta take things slow and keep an eye on your AI teammates, they are beyond useless.
I will admit, there are some tough parts; parts where I continually died numerous times during certain battles. But it’s not impossible; just take it slow, and if you keep dying at a specific part, look and see if there’s maybe a different method to use to complete it. Not to mention I’d suggest you use range weapons, and pretty much forget about geound pound. You can’t use the same tactics as you would on normal.

This is incredibly true on legendary…
Heck I used them as cannon fodder/decoys during certain portions of the campaign.

Yeah play mission 14 and 15 on legendary. 14 without skipping the Wardens, and 15 without camping on top of the elavator in the last battle and then talk about how hard it is. Those two missions had me cussing so loud I’m surprised the cops didn’t show up to investigate a domestic.

You could skip the wardens and camp on an elevator?
Why didn’t I think of that…
I cleared it on legendary, really not that bad except when you get a checkpoint in an awful position. That can sometimes make some missions a lot worse then they are supposed to be
I think I just finished Mission 8 earlier on my solo run? Can’t remember. I’ve been pacing myself by only doing one or two missions a day since my initial run on Heroic the day it came out. I have a sibling who tries to backseat game and yeah, I prefer to avoid having to deal with that when playing aha.
Anyway, whenever it comes to playing any game on the hardest difficulty ( this isn’t limited just to Halo ), it’s good to pace yourself by taking things slow. Don’t rush in to kill things since it’ll usually get you or your AI/co-op partners killed faster, compare weapons and stick to high damage output/long-ranged and accurate weapons even if they’re ones you typically don’t use, and overall just don’t think about finishing the playthrough as fast as possible. All the latter will do is frustrate you when you have to redo parts of a mission and actually cause you to spend even more time on it than necessary as a result.
If you get frustrated with a part for whatever reason though, just take a step back. Play a different game, play some multiplayer instead, watch tv, or whatever for an hour or two and then return to the game when you’ve cooled off. A lot of people underestimate how helpful that can be, especially if you’re tired. 
Overall, this campaign is a lot more challenging than Halo 3 and Halo 4 but, it’s nowhere near as difficult as Halo CE/Halo 2. Just take your time with it and you’ll have an easier time with it. Goodluck!
AI teammates are definitely useless. I’m currently stuck on the first Boss encounter for my Legendary Solo run. I really just wish my team would stay where I put them!
Legendary doesn’t even get truly difficult until the 4th mission though lol. Luckily im done with solo legendary because I never want to deal with that bad AI system again

yep, they are utterly useless. I dont even bother trying to revive them.
The power of the cloud is deff not working for them.
Everytime i die on my legendary run (mission 6 now on the elevator) its because i’m being stupid and running out into the open, or trying to punch a promethean, or thinking oh hey i will just revive this stupid ai meat shield…etc
Take it slo, shoot from cover, keep a mega close eye on your sheild, explore each space as there is plenty of weaponary scattered around to beat each encounter.
Its not too hard, but enough of a challenge to enjoy it.

Agree, sadly i have to skip the wardens in mission 14, i was doing great the right way but then had a bad checkpoint when i kill 2 of then. In the end Halo 5 legendary campaign is harder then Halo 4, but no as much as other Halo games.

Yeah, I saw a YouTube video when I was getting frustrated but me being me told myself that’s no way to beat a game so I kept on cussing…
