I have a Silver Live account and I started playing Reach while online but my commendations progress never increased…ever.
Note that I have not taken my credits online, meaning that I show as a default spartan. Could this be the reason?
One other thing, I can never see the Challenges. Is it because of the same thing?
Before you ask, the reason why I decided to keep my offline credits is that when i decided to get live I had 120k Cr already and didn’t feel like loosing nearly everything. Plus I couldn’t do most challenges even if I could access them, so getting my credits back would be really troublesome…
It might be an issue with your network hardware, or your connection in general. I know I couldn’t access challenges and my profile showed up as the default colors and recruit rank for awhile when I changed routers until I port forwarded for Xbox LIVE. Look for a post by SHADOWSTRIKE1 about configuring your network, he goes pretty in-depth.

Basically what he said since you can’t earn commendations or challenges or until the free weekend thats supposed to be coming for US only. (Hate US only)
