Can't Download MCC

My troubles started with the latest patch, where the update was stuck at some percent for a couple days. I couldn’t seem to get it to continue downloading, so I decided to reinstall the entire game (digitally). I have a university connection, so it’s fast enough to download the whole game in a couple hours (90 Mbp/s up and down with zero packet loss). Anyways I’ve tried reinstalling 5 times now and EVERY time my download slows to a halt at exactly 15% and stops making any progress. I don’t know why 15%, but even checking my bandwidth shows that the download comes to a complete stand-still (Maybe 5 or 6 Kbit/s).

I’ve attempted hard resets, resetting my DNS, unplugging the box, reinstalling, canceling the download, redownloading my xbox live profile… everything that I’ve seen suggested and none of it has worked. I can download other games to completion without any problems. I’ve walked through all the trouble-shooting that Xbox support knows… twice. They finally recommended I post here because the issue is isolated to the MCC. Thoughts or solutions?

We have both tried all the steps that you did and it seems that all 3 of us have contacted xbox support, had them run through troubleshooting with us and ultimately telling us to get in touch with the developer of the game. The issue with that, there is no way to get in contact with the developer that any of us know about. I posted my thread yesterday and emailed community@halowaypoint and no replies from anyone.

I see people complaining left and right about the bugs in their multiplayer games and were sitting here unable to even play the game we all love.

What to do next… ??? I’m all ears… SMH…

Come on 343, I know it’s the weekend but we are paying customers here and this is complete BS.
