I own halo mcc on a physical disk. I tried downloading the Insider App and it acted like the app didn’t exist. I was able to use my phone to download the app to the Xbox and it says I don’t own the Insider App and it won’t open.
I figured it was an issue with having MCC on a disk so I bought a digital copy. (It was a good excuse) And it still says I don’t own Insider and I can’t open it. I understand Infinite is delayed but this was an issue for session 8 as well.

so this is completely different then MCC or Halo insider.
Go to the store, and download “Xbox insider hub” under the application tab. Opt in to that, and when live, the flight will posted there for you to accept and taken to the hidden area to download the flight build.
