Can't Decide Primary Weapon...

Ok I can’t decide what Primary wepon I will choose. I love the feel of the BR, the DMR is very good at long and mid range, the Light Rifle has 2 firing modes and looks awesome, the Surpressor looks amazing from 1st person, I love the feel and sound of the Storm Rifle, the AR looks revamped and beefy and would feel good to use, and I love the Needle Rifle which makes me think that I will be skilled with the Carbine. So literally, I have no idea what weapon to choose…

Use everything, just playing but me ill just need AR and magnum for all situations heh. I believe you can make multiple classes and make them fit into whatever situation u always end up in… Or simply just follow your heart and show those weapons some loovee

DMR will probably be the most versatile. If you think you can consistently quickscope, use the Light Rifle.

The AR/Storm Rifle/Suppressor are too much of a niche weapon, and the BR/Carbine have too slow kill times. The automatics would probably work well as secondaries.

I think I’ll try the Carbine first.

whats the tornado gun?

br first tho

no need to “quickscope” as you dont get knocked out of scope when you get shot.

Why stay scoped in for the entire time?

Actually, the DMR, BR and Carbine all have the exact same kill times at 1.6s. Light Rifle is 1.8s while hipfiring and 1.3 while zoomed in.

Source? Because from what I read, BR was 1.8.

That’s only with a specialisation or something like that. Staying scoped in is not default. Not everyone will be using it. Who the hell hell quick scopes in Halo!? If it does happen it’s by accident, lol.

I’m pretty sure it is defailt, but your aim gets jerked around. Like in CoD when you get shot while sighted up, your character flinches. The details are not entirely clear on it, though.

Assault Rifle. <3

I’m sorry, but that is my favourite Halo weapon of ALL time.

I’ll be rocking a BR and AR combo. I will be using the AR a lot more now that it has learned the way of the Voice.

It’s Thu’um is most powerful up close. lol.

I’m assuming he got them from the Halocouncil video, but Nexy screwed up the calculations. The revised kill times are:

DMR: 1.46s (44f)
Carbine: 1.63 (49f)
BR: 1.80s (54f)
LR unscoped: 1.80s (54f)
LR scoped: 1.40s (33f)

Making the DMR the best not counting the zoomed in LR. Sorry BR fans. :frowning:

BR, DMR, and unscoped LR are 5 shot. Scoped LR is a 4. Carbine is 8.

Yeah I got them from his video. Thanks for the correction. It’s a shame, really, I liked the BR/DMR/Carbine having the exact same kill times.
