I recently reinstalled Halo Wars 2 for windows 10 and now every time I play the game, It gets stuck at “syncing data 0%” and says “unable to connect to the halo wars 2 online services” in the top right. Halo Wars 2 is the only game that won’t connect. It works fine on my laptop but not my desktop. I’ve reinstalled may times, tried downloading the game on a different user, and running “game.bat”, nothing has worked. I’ve called Microsoft twice and done live chats but nothing has helped. They pretty much told me the error was to specific to my computer and I needed to contact the manufacturer. I’m about to give up here. Any ideas?
I have the same problem. New installation HW2 and… “The game was unable to launch because it could not establish a connection to the revalidation servers. Please enable your internet connection and then restart the game to play.”
I’ve also reinstalled. Only HW2 won’t connect.
I tried test connection with Microsoft server… solution is very simply. I found later - you must be logged to the Windows Shop and press buton PLAY!
