Is it just me or can no one else connect to the halo 5 servers. I was playing forge then all of the sudden lost connection and have not been able to reconnect to the halo 5 servers. I’ve hard rest the game and my xbox and no luck. any ideas
*also the game will no longer open after I hard rest the xbox
I think xbox live is partly down. Tried 2 different games including Halo 5, had the same problem.
I believe you are correct I tried opening every other game I own and none are opening
I checked Xbox Live status, no change in condition yet, I would think something would be mentioned on Xbox support twitter.
I was on XBL in other apps, but cannot connect to H5G.
It’s strange because I can see some people in my Spartan Company playing, yet I can’t get online. Its a strange situation since when Xbox Live is down normally…it tends to disable everything within the menu’s except campaign.
I’ve been having the same issue but for a couple months now. It was mostly custom games, but now it is online games as well.

Make sure to check the date of previous posts before posting. This thread is over a year old. It is best to start a new thread. In terms of your issue, try a hard reset on your xbox. If that does not fix the problem you may have to go into your router settings and ensure the XBL ports are forwarded in your router settings. Here is some info on the XBL ports.
I was having a disconnect issue when I replace my xbox with and xbox x. The only way to fix it for me was to use the port triggering setting and ensure the XBL ports are in my settings. I rarely disconnect or have trouble connecting now.
