Can't access old account on Steam

When Halo MCC Came out on Steam, I created a profile and my friend and I have been doing LASO. We finished LASO and Speedrun of Reach and CE but then one day it asked me to log in. I did not create a login when I first started playing so I typed in a random email and it gave me a different account.

How do I access my old account? It has the achievement for Reach and CE and I really don’t want to do LASO again.

You can’t access which? Your Xbox account or your Steam account?

The Steam one. I know it still exists cause I can look him up. Old account name was Targetstar.

If the issue is your steam account, you’d have to go through steam/valve about that. It’s not a halo issue.
