I created a xbox live account in order to play the MCC halo reach game. I play it for a couple days. ONLY single player campaign mode. never once accessing any multiplayer modes.
In the middle of the gameplay on the second day I received a popup on screen which logged me out of the game and said along the lines. That I needed to confirm my account with a phone number, any phone number. I refused to give my phone number and it was not stated that I had to give anybody my phone number. So I deleted the game and contacted steam for a refund.
They stated I had more than 2 hours of game time and thus refused to refund my money. If I cannot get my money refunded then I was going to try and re-install the game and create a new xbox live account.
The problem is that the game will not let me create a new account, and I cannot get into the locked xbox live account because I can’t find the password. I never used the account for email, never sent any messages from the account and if I received any it was from Microsoft themselves or you guys. Because the account was rendered junk after just a couple days, I did not get around to memorizing or writing down the password.
I have the receipt for purchasing the game.
I need somebody to reset my xbox live account or tell me how to reset the game so that I can create a new xbox live account in order to play the game.
Otherwise you’re selling games to people and locking them out of being able to actually play them. For no reason what so ever.
