Can't Access Halo 4 Champions Bundle Trailer

I’m running an older Windows XP machine. I have the latest version of Silverlight installed, and the plugin is activated in all browsers.

The errors are as follows:
Firefox 22 - “Sorry, but the browser or device you are using does not support this video. Please ensure that your browser is using the latest version of Silverlight to continue.”
Opera 15 - Same as above.
IE8 - Pressing submit after populating the age-gate inputs causes no result.
Safari 5.1.7 for Windows - This browser is outdated and no longer supported by Apple, but this is the final version available for Windows. Surprisingly, the media loads, audio almost works, but the video is unwatchable due to enormous frame-skipping gaps.

I’d like a response from one of 343’s crack webgineers on this. I don’t care that Safari doesn’t work properly, and I understand that IE8 is old and “not supported” by Halo Waypoint (even though it is an MS product and does support Silverlight 5), but there’s no reason the latest Firefox and Opera versions should be unable to display this content.

I’m on standard Windows 7 and Chrome and it’s not working. I don’t think it’s you, or me. I think it’s just not working at the moment…

Just a reminder, you are able to watch the trailer and almost all other Halo vids on other sites such as YouTube! :slight_smile:

Just a quick necropost as I review my posting history: this problem persists with Firefox 24 and Opera 16. The age gate appears momentarily while the page loads, then the “unable to display video because your browser fails” etc. message appears. IE8 still displays the age gate, but it cannot be passed. Perhaps this info can still be helpful to the devs for future posts of promotional video.
