I’m hoping someone can help me here. I recently bought a brand new sealed copy of Halo 4 Limited Edition. Since the game was released nine years ago I was sure none of the codes in the pack would work. However, I entered all the codes and to my surprise they all worked (the Forward Unto Dawn code, and all the others, with the exception of the female avatar outfit, which makes sense since my avatar is male).
I have been having no luck in accessing Forward Unto Dawn through Waypoint. When I loaded Halo 4 and accessed Waypoint through that, I had to download an update for Waypoint. After it had updated, it then required me to redownload Waypoint in its entirety. When it had finished that, it then started ‘retrieving data’. However, my console froze during the retrieval and I had to restart my 360. So now each time I try to access Waypoint through Halo 4, it first tells me that my profile has changed (I don’t know why it tells me this - I haven’t changed my profile), and then when it tries to retrieve data, my console freezes.
I tried accessing Waypoint through Halo Reach. It told me again that my profile had changed, but this time it was successful in retrieving data. I tried selecting Forward Unto Dawn, but when I did so, I was told there was an error accessing the content on the server. So my last hope is to try to access Forward Unto Dawn on the Waypoint website. I’ve logged in with my email I use with my Xbox account, but I can’t see anywhere on the site that I can access Forward Unto Dawn. The slip of paper in the limited edition with my Forward Unto Dawn code said that the content can be accessed through ‘Halo 4 Intel’ on the website, but I can’t find that anywhere on the site.
Could someone please help me? I would really like to be able to access the Forward Unto Dawn content.
