Cant access any multiplayer - anti cheat incidents

I have multiple anti-cheat incidents popping up every time I open Halo MCC. The issue started about 2 weeks ago.
These errors keep popping up repeatedly for over 2 mins at a time:

  • Anti cheat incident: unknown file version (halo1\halo1.dll)
  • Anti cheat incident: unknown file version (halo2\halo2.dll)
  • Anti cheat incident: unknown file version (groundhog\groundhog.dll)

I cannot access any multiplayer options, and when I try to open multiplayer, I get:
“ANTI CHEAT INCIDENT
You cannot matchmake due to the following anti-cheat issue: Unknown file version (groundhog\groundhog.dll)”

The bizarre part is that this is still persistent after verifying file integrity using Steam, and launching the Easy Anti Cheat setup.exe in the installers local folder to repair service. The even more bizarre part is that this keeps happening even after I uninstalled and reinstalled twice.

I can’t find any solutions online to this, and it kinda sucks that mutliplayer is completely unplayable. If anyone can let me know what else I can do thatd be amazing, thanks.

I have the exact same issue so if someone could work out a fix that would be great
I have tried to fix the Easy anti cheat, ive deleted the dll files and validated it via steam
nothing is working and i dont know what to do

i have solved the groundhog issue

step 1:
on steam go into your game library and right click on halo mcc and click browse local files

step2:
open the groundhog folder
step 3:
right click the groundhog.dll files and delete

issue solved
