Canon holes for multiplayer races...

Halo Reclaimer Saga seems to be building to something…

This is my idea on where the plot will go with slight variation at some points.

Halo 4 (Introduction)
Master Chief is reawakened by Cortana, after the UNSC FORWARD UNTO DAWN is drifting toward an unidentified planet. The quick witted couple discover a new enemy not seen by Humanity or the Covenant before. This new enemy is by far one if not the worst threats in the galaxy, his technology and abilities out match everything both sides have to offer… Master Chief does another act of heroism but at a far greater cost.

Plot Points

  • Master Chief Humanity visited
  • Cortana Rampancy
  • Ur-Didact Reawakened

Halo 5 (Complication)
Master Chief now without his most-trusted friend has started to feel the weight of his choices. He starts foreshadowing the Ur-Didact by progressively going mad from the constant memories of his lost friends. He has started to discover his humanity and what it means to be human. He still is in denial about Cortana’s passing and tries to find some forerunner artifact or AI for a means to an end. He is ordered to return to UNSC space and command but for the first ever time abandon his post and trust his own choices. After many discovers and trials… the flood return on mass from Shield World portals and also outside of the known Milky Way Galaxy, they have many graveminds and various Keyminds. They also have a higher being leading the charge on the forefront of the war… it is the godlike being The Precursers. The flood is far greater, far stronger and more numerous than previously seen in the Installation 05 Outbreak of 2552. Master Chief is tasked by the Iso-Didact or Mendicant Bias to reunite the known sentient species into a common cause, and to find to MIA Ur-Didact; only by reuniting under one banner will they stand a chance.

  • Master Chief Humanity
  • Flood and Precursor Return
  • Forerunners Remnant Sect lead by the Iso-Didact
  • Ur-Didact Status mentioned
  • A council of sentients is made, Each race has a matriach that will represent their races cause and role. Separatist Sangheili… Arbiter; Storm Covenant… Jul Mdama; Jiralhanae… Unnamed Brute Chieftain; UNSC… Master Chief; Forerunner Remnant… Iso-Didact; Promethean… Ur-Didact; Unggoy… Dadab; Kig-Yar… ?; Mgalekgolo… ?; Kig-Yar Pirates… ?; Prophets… ?; Insurrectionists… ?; Yan’me… ?;

Very interesting. I would love to see that happen

Really wonder if Flood are going to be featured in Halo 5, and if so, the way they will be featured.

Halo legends shows that this idea of unifying isn’t out of the question. I think this plot idea isn’t that bad, but we also have to remember it has to weave in with everything else i.e. there can’t be more than one grave mind in one galaxy.

Dadab is dead :frowning:

On topic: I think you’re missing one key factor that mixes up the pot, one that will make Jon’s self doubt and his doubt about the UNSC (and specifically, ONI) much greater- Halsey. She will (or “can”, whatever- these are my theories) create an internal struggle within Master Chief which would highlight his humanity (because our choices are what make us human).

Also, I don’t like the Mass-Effecty species get-together council thing, especially if Jon is set to represent humanity. It’s a bit too cliche and unbelieveable, especially since I think Jon is more of a follower/soldier than he is a leader (he can only leaf other soldiers). But that’s just a matter of opinion.

Other than that, your hopes/theories line up with mine in a pretty surprising manner. I hope we are correct in believing humanity will be tested by the Precursors or the Flood in Halo 5 and will fail that test because of ONI’s xenophobic actions and the fact that we are in constant struggle and war (with ourselves and other species). Thus we are unbefitting of reclaiming the Mantle, and the Flood will be sent to destroy us in a full invasion force near the end of the game. Mendicant Bias’ involvement is also a theory we have in common, and I believe that the secrets he’ll reveal to Jon will turn Jon against ONI and the UNSC (not to fight them or shoot at them, more of a verbal battle) in attempt to cleanse humanity of their sins before it’s too late (and it WOULD be too late).

Then, Halo 6 can focus on the war with the Flood and how it affects the Halo Universe as a whole. It would probably span a long time (at least a few years) and show the effects of war and loss, and that’s where opposing factions will start working together. And that’s when the big question will be asked again: should the Halos be activated?

/random rant-theory-crap over

Congrats. You just wrote Mass Effect 3.

I’m thinking yes!

I’m thinking yes for Halo 6 and maybe for Halo 5 (there is way too much set up to do, so maybe the Flood will have to wait).
