My Halo 4 arrived today from Amazon. I already had it installed as we did some multiplay with my Xbox (a slim 250gb) at work using someone else’s discs.
When I started the campaign, it went through the initial cutscene and then dropped to the Start menu.
I started again, and it did the same thing.
I started a third time, and skipped the cutscene, then the game went on.
Until I finished Requiem. Then it refused to load no matter what I did. The title menu says “Start Campaign” and if I try to manually start my campaign, it just drops to the start screen.
I copied my saved game to the cloud, deleted the entire game, and tried from disk, but it won’t load my game from the cloud.
So I started a new campaign (sigh) but after the initial cutscene, it drops to the start menu again.
I have rebooted and deleted the system cache.
My Xbox is wired ethernet.
I tried installing disc 1 again, this did not help.
Any ideas? I’ve read others have this issue. It seems after 5 months 343 would have fixed this by now.
