So, like some people… I have multiple Microsoft email accounts. This is due to growing up and requiring a more professional email address that wasn’t so childish.
Anyway, my xbox account is linked to the childish one (and cannot be migrated. I’ve tried this literally a hundred times) and Waypoint automatically signs in on my professional account. I’ve had to download a new browser, sign into Microsoft before opening Waypoint, then clicking sign in JUST to receive a sign in box.
I understand that some people want to just click sign in and it automatically pull through their credentials, but -Yoink-, just a “Sign out” button would be beneficial. There isn’t one visible anywhere on Internet Explorer 10. I had to get Chrome just to log in to make this post.
I understand people don’t use IE because in their opinion it’s “bad”. I have to use it for work every day, so honestly I see no issues with it other than on this one site.
Please add basic functionality to this site!!
On another note; where the hell is the online file sharing? You’ve removed it from ALL games?! Bad move…
If you click on your profile icon on the top right of the page, does the dropdown not give you a sign out button there?
It does on my works laptop under Windows 7, haven’t checked Windows 8 yet though.

Nope, in IE it just doesn’t load the menu. If you click it, it just auto directs you to the profile.
One of the biggest issues in website design these days is fancy flashy things that over complicates basic functionality.
Hm, I can’t seem to replicate this. IE 11 on my home laptop (Win 8.1) works just ask my works laptop, click the profile and it shows the dropdown menu. Is it possible you maybe have an add-on enabled that’s causing issues? Here are some things you could try:
- Running IE without add-ons and see if that makes any difference. Click Start, then Run or use Windows + R, paste this in (including quotes) and hit enter:
“%ProgramFiles%\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe” -extoff
Load up Waypoint and see if the same thing happens- Delete either all your cookies or just any cookies related to Waypoint, Xbox LIve and Windows Live- Check that Javascript isn’t disabledI have come across this once before I think, but it was due to me clicking the link before the page was fully loaded, so the javascript that runs the toggle hadn’t fired yet. Could also be something that is happening to you. Maybe try letting the page load, then before clicking anythig do a CTRL+F5, wait for it to load and then check the dropdown. Apart from that, I’m not sure what could be causing this.

Don’t use Internet Explorer: it has a reputation of not working well with Javascript and CSS. As a web developer, I know this.
(Sorry I had to, but that will fix the issue)
That just skirts right over the issue without solving the root cause. If you read his post, he needs to use IE in work. Your solution won’t fix the issue I’m afraid

Well it might not work in his case but it’s still a solution to the problem.
OP…can you bring and use your android tablet while at work? I’m posting frome Chrome on my Tab as I type. Just a thought…
