Trying to create a custom game variant and every time I attempt to save it, it gives me an error message saying it was unable to save the file at this time. Very frustrating, and I couldn’t find any other threads about this problem except for one from five years ago that was essentially ignored and never solved.

Did you try giving your Xbox console a hard reset? This normally works for me whenever I encounter an issue.

I have, yes. My buddy was having the same problem as well.

Appreciate that. It’s just such a bummer and shouldn’t even be a problem. I mean the game has been out what, 5 years? Lol
I think the main reason is usually the name. One time I think it didn’t save cause I used the word “assault”
Sometimes it doesn’t save even if there’s no bad word so I’ll just have to save it as “A” or some random letter.

I was trying to save a Jenga variant, I can’t see why that wouldn’t work but I’ll try some other random stuff to see if it works.
Have you tried deleting some older save files? I think that error kicks up sometimes if you have too many things saved.

I really don’t have that many saved files I don’t think but I will give that a try
