Cannot save any maps. Any name deemed Profane.

I’m just starting to get back into Halo 3 Forge after a long while. However, I’ve run into a problem where any name I give any map is deemed profane, and I cannot save it. I decided to test out why it’s not saving. Apparently the only acceptable name and description is “test” for both. I cleared sandbox, to have a clean slate. I tried naming it “Empty”. Got the profanity warning. Tried naming it “SandBox1” and got the profanity warning. What gives? Why can’t I save any maps? Do I seriously need to whip out the 360 from storage to enjoy Forge?

Edit: Could it be because of my dumb gamertag?

I noticed you changed your gamertag. Did that fix it?

I don’t have any help for this issue. I just wanted to say that seeing a thread titled “Cannot save any maps. Any name deemed Profane” posted by a user with the gamer tag ‘BigAnalChungus’ was by far the funniest thing I saw all weekend. lol

Try another gamertag without any profane words in it and see if it saves your maps.

I had this same issue too at one point. It wasn’t because of my Gamertag though. It got solved after hard-rebooting my Xbox. Very strange, but shouldn’t be permanent.
