I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I don’t see the additional multiplayer maps come up any more in Halo 4. I own the first 3 map packs that came as part of the Halo 4 Map Pass (I don’t have the Bullseye Pack), and I never see those maps come up during the online multiplayer. I did when they were first released, but now just the basic maps that came with the game show up. The biggest problem I have with this is that I didn’t get a lot of those map-specific achievements for the game. And, with them no longer coming up, I’ll never be able to get those achievements.
So far I’ve deleted and re-downloaded all 3 map packs as well as the Halo 4 Title Update, and I still haven’t seen a difference. So, is something wrong with my game, or what?
This problem has been answered so many times.
The reason the maps do not show up is because everybody in the game lobby NEEDS to have the map packs in order for them to show as a voting option. If just 1 person has no DLC then they wont show.
The chance of them showing is greatly reduced due to the low game population and the large number of people who don’t have/refuse to buy the DLC. What puzzles me more is the number of people here on Waypoint who complain about the DLC maps not showing, but then continue to discourage others from buying them. If these people want to play the maps so much they should be doing all they can to actually get people to buy them, not the opposite. These reasons make the chance of DLC maps showing a hell of a lot less. Your best bet is to find and party up with other DLC owners, then search. The more people in your lobby with DLC, the greater the chance you will be matched up against other teams of DLC owners.
