So I was trying out the Flood Firefight when I noticed my ODST controls aren’t as they should be. No problem, just go into settings and change it accordingly, except there’s one button that hasn’t been mapped to anything on any of the games, and that button is on keyboard. I very rarely play on mouse and keyboard. And as long as there’s one control that hasn’t been binded to any buttons on keyboard, I cannot keep any edits i make to the controls.
I have gone on PC to see if I could fix the problem there. No, because everything is set as they should be there. Same account too, btw.
Now, I can still play on Xbox, but I’d be forced to used controls im not used to, and I’d rather not have to relearn controls. I also don’t want to play on PC if I don’t have to. I only have it on PC just in case a PC Halo player buddy of mine wants to play co-op.
By the way, the function that isn’t mapped, it’s “Push to Talk”, which personally I think is the most useless mechanic in the whole game.
Hey there!
That sounds frustrating. Have you tried resetting things to default and then re-mapping again? I’d wonder if that would somehow shake things loose and have it work out.
If that doesn’t work, you should be sure to let Halo Support know so they can take note.

Just tried the default idea you gave me. It worked. Thank you very much!
