Press E to Pickup Weapon does not functon in Campaign and Multiplayer.
When I scope in with any weapon, it glitches out as well.
I cannot believe 343 would release the game in this state. Unbelievable.
The game specifically states “beta”. I think the message is clear enough.
I’ve encountered the same bug too but only once during the flight. I’m certain they’ll get it sorted

A port of a port of a game from 19 years ago, poggers.
We payed less for the whole collection than what ONE modern tripleA title costs. They’ve been extremely transparent about issues, even gone as far as outright telling us “these are the known problems, please feel free to inform us if you find more”.
We should obviously tell them if we find bugs but I really don’t think they deserve the hate.

Absolutely nowhere does it state its a beta. Not on the store page, promotional material, nor the game itself. This is the official release of the game. The only use of “beta” is in the message of the day, and that’s referring to the beta of Xbox Game Pass on PC. No excuses. This is a AAA company that promised “ready when it’s ready”, and flighting was supposed to resolve issues like these.

I seem to recall the MCC being a gigantic flop back in the years following launch. They have done alot to fix this game and appease/winback the fans. But to release the game in this state, after one flighting when Reach had many, is unacceptable.
Hey folks, can you all please check that your version of Windows is fully up to date? If it’s not (which I suspect it isn’t) make sure you update and restart. Each time you restart, make sure and double check Windows update again to make sure you’re on the latest version. After that the issue should be resolved.
