After I click install “I should be able to play for free with game pass” it never starts gives a “working…” status where it should start downloading, I’ve left it for hours and nothing happens, I tried other games and they work perfectly.

Halo 5 is a very large game which might be causing this issue. I think it’s over 100gb at this time so if you don’t have that amount of space on a single hard drive it won’t download/install.
