Cannot install on PC

It says I own the product in the Windows store and on Microsoft’s website. Only says Manage, rather than Install, and the game is definitely not installed.

Game is working properly on the Xbox One. Every other Crossbuy game is working properly, even reinstalled Recore. Seems to be a problem exclusive to this game.

It’s been 48 hours since purchase and the issue still hasn’t fixed itself so far.

I have the same problem. Purchased the “Halo Wars 2: Complete Edition” says that it’s Play Anywhere, and that I own it, but it just says “manage” and no install option.

Also doesn’t show up as compatible with PC in my library.

I have found a way to install the game that worked for me, try to find the Halo Wars 2 Base Game in the store. I clicked on Halo Wars 2 Complete Edition, then scrolled down and Clicked “Halo Wars 2” under the “Included in this bundle” section. I was able to download the base game, but now I find it impossible to download the DLC so I’m only 60% of the way there.

Hope this helps you, seems this forum isn’t regularly moderated.

Thank you! I was able to get this to work and it’s installing now. I was getting no where with Microsoft’s Xbox support. I kept telling them it’s not an issue with the game if I can’t even install it and that it was an issue with the Microsoft Store app or the way it is setup in the store.

i get the feeling either the DLC needs to be installed from within the app (though I’ve never launched it) or installed via the windows store library. If I figure it out I will come back and post but many thanks for this.

Edit: so after doing the install I don’t see a way of “installing” the DLC, however it looks like it is there as the extended campaigns are showing in the missions list as playable (but I haven’t tried them yet).

I’m just now having this issue I found Halo Wars 2 uninstalled for some reason I know I had it installed on my PC so I went to the windows store and it gives me an error message it will not install.
