So, I’m completely unable to find multiplayer matches.
I believe I’m getting hit with the “Players with high ping times may be unable to find games” bug… But I have a few questions.
First of all, this sounds an awful lot like the region lock issue Halo 5 had at launch and that took several months to be fixed. It’s disappointing that 343i is making the same mistake once again.
My local server has a ping of around 10ms (South Brazil), but I suspect there’s not enough population there.
So, next up are US servers. I see a 120-150 ping to the US East Servers, and I’m currently unable to find any matches. That ping, while not ideal, should still be able to find me matches.
Having said that, how “high” are talking about here? What’s the cut out zone for the region lock algorithm to kick in?
