I cannot seem to truly disable multiplayer match chat.
In settings, I have both “Match Chat” and “Fireteam & Lobby Chat” unchecked/disabled. However, I am constantly put into matches where suddenly folks start chatting away and I realize I’m in match chat. What gives? I go into settings > audio, only to find that both those chat options are still unchecked/disabled. Yet, I’m in match chat, hearing people yammering. So I toggle the match chat options on and off again, and only then is chat actually disabled. But only for that match. I’ll have to do this song and dance all over again the next game I get placed into.
This happening to anybody else? Is this just me? Am I missing something? I’m on PC BTW.
