I had this issue last week and a router reset helped. Sometimes changes to NAT settings can cause Halo 5 to throw a fit and not be able to connect you to any sessions. This is normally fixed with a router reboot.
I’m not sure if it’s a internet issue but after almost every match myself or one of my friends won’t be able to stay in the fireteam and transfer over to the next match this has been happening for that last couple months
Quick Resume bug. When you leave the game on Quick Resume and you get back in it, it will say that.
The fix is easy, close the game, open it back again, there you go.
For that not happening again, everytime you change game or turn off your console, you must close the game first, so it doesn’t stay in Quick Resume.

As a follow up, this is only applicable on Series X/S consoles.
Quick resume doesn’t update server info whilst the game is suspended & needs restarting to gather relevant data.
If you’re having this issue on a Xbox One or that like of devices it may be worth hard resetting your console (holding down the power button until it turns off) or restarting your internet connection
