"Cannot connect to host" error

This is an issue that I haven’t seen addressed as of yet. I’ve had a team that’s been playing Halo competitively for about 8 years, ever since the MCC was released my teammates cannot join the same lobby as each other, we can’t practice, we can’t even play campaign together. Is this an issue that’s known to 343i and that is being addressed in the update on Wednesday? It’s a pretty big deal as we plan on attending an event in Columbus on December 12th and as it stands now, we can’t even play together.

Anyone else have this problem or have a remedy for it?

All of our NAT types are set to Open, and we can connect to each other in any other game, so the issue has to be with MCC.

Any help or insight on this will be appreciated, and not sure if 343i will read this, but if one of you happens to have time in your busy schedule to address this personally I’d feel a lot better. Thanks!

Yess same thing haopens to me, I try and play a matchmaking game and it says “your connection to the host has failed” the day I got it, it was fine. Ever since these updates came out Ive been having trouble finding games. Hopefully they fix that in the wednesday update

This started on Saturday evening for me, but it looked like it was an XBOX Live issue not the MCC, until I switched over to COD and could group together fine. Couple of hours and a hard reset later and we were all able to play together again. Probably just them tweaking settings to fix the overall issue.

Can anyone elaborate on this and if this is being fixed in the Wednesday update? I just want to be able to plan for this competition.
