Cannon: Visible Ranks would/could make sense

War Games:

To link online multiplayer matchmaking to in-game fiction it has now been coined War Games by 343 Industries; with War Games being vast simulated training grounds for SPARTAN-IVs as part of their preparation for Spartan Ops missions, which take place 6 months after the conclusion of the campaign[14]. These simulations will be hosted inside the UNSC Infinity and will allow individuals to take control of virtual SPARTAN-IV characters and battle in a realistic but safe online environments.

Visible Ranks:

From reading above having visible ranks would make sense to see which spartan 4’s are consistently
doing well in their simulated trainings.

Wouldn’t you want to see how well a Spartan 4 is doing compared to other spartan 4’s. With ranks
it would show which ones stand out and who is performing the best. The ranks would also show
what a spartan would have to work on and get better at from their rank and stats.

Spartan Ratings:

The SR ranks wont show accordingly who is consistently performing well since just playing with allow
you to progress without getting better.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Visible Ranks would/could make sense in cannon if they are implemented right. So it would make
sense to see which Spartans are doing well and which ones need work. Without ranks you cant see
who is doing good consistently. Without ranks gives the spartan no reason to perform better since
their isn’t a reward for doing better in these simulated arenas.

So what all do you guys think? Thinking logically wouldn’t this make sense in cannon if ranks
were implemented in war games? It only makes sense to me.

Without ranks you can get a good picture of who is better or who needs more time playing in
war games. With visible ranks it would only improve stats on the board to help the Spartans
want to be more dedicated players.

I completely agree.

I agree, I personally like it to show that I am a better player than other people. It makes since because in the military you can rank up upon performance and skill.

If the Spartans on the Infinity aren’t competing to be the best then why compete? It’s like any sport, there is a ranking system to show who is the best in the league and who is doing horrible, why wouldn’t there be a ranking system in these training exercises?

Also i’d like to add we have ranks on the forums for how much we post on here. Thats the same as we should a have visible ranks on halo 4, i mean if you play a lot and are good your going to rank up to a different ranks and thats the same as for on the forums on how much you post you eventually rank up.

It’s not fair that we cant see how good we are doing in a game and how much we ranked up. It’s like a goal to rank up and be good. It’s also gives us something to look forward to doing.

yeah would military ranks make sense in halo’s cannon. I mean you dont achieve a rank
if your not good enough to obtain it.
