So 'm new to the the HALO forum but, i think there is a cannon explanation to the Aim Down Sights (ADS for the CoD fans) but, so every halo except halo 5 uses zoom, and as we all know halo 5 has its own spartan project also known as the spartan 4.2 program.

you see what i am seeing yet? no? well spartan 4’s were designed to be cheep and disposable so ONI started to remove a component that would zoom so now they train spartan 4.2’s to look down the sights of the guns and that would also explain why the gun designed changed

Smart link would also have the benefit of being versital while the old zoom would only work on unsc weapons that were fitted with the optics link.

It functions the same as zoom with the exception of the added melee ranges with some weapons and that you can do it with the AR. The canon explanation could simply be that no soldier would fail to use the sights on a weapon when they wanted to live.

Tightening spread, and increasing RRR on autos is not functioning the same at all.

WOW, ya know I did this before I even got the game and, it was really different than what I thought XD
The game is still fun either way…

Couldn’t care less about canon… I don’t need it to justify why something is or isn’t a feature in a game.
