Who thinks that there will be another Halo, and if so what do you think the real cannon ending is? Is there anything else that could be a cannon to Halo?
The Canon ending will most likely end with chief dying, but who knows with this story direction.
Simple. It won’t end. Even if they stop producing games, comics, novels, and TV series, the universe would most likely continue on as it always had.
But for now, they claim to have at least 30 more years planned, so… there’s that.
I think either the didact or gravemind will return (or both), Cortana will either be killed by the master chief or will turn good again. It’s hard to speculate given the ending. We don’t know how much control the created have and if the prometheans are on every planet.
