Hey, just wondering what would be the cannon armor color for our spartans? We know that most IIs rocked the sage and that IIIs wore SPI armor so what color “should” our spartans wear? I see lots of blue/gold ones as the “default” spartans in spartan ops but I find that color combo a bit ugly. Cheers
Sometimes I like to change my Spartans color depending on what map I’m on. I figure that’s what they would do in reality if they had time to prepare.
I think the default colour would likely be Steel.
/speculation
Well the unnamed SPARTAN IV’s we see in SPOPS and campaign wear steel primary with gold secondary, however I think armour colour for Spartan IV fireteams are customisable, lore wise. So whatever you want would be lore friendly, technically. If your wanting likely colours then I would suggest sage, grey and blue which is in line with what we’ve seen already.
Thanks for the feedback, I like sage but can’t help like feeling like a MCwannabe when I use it.
VIBRANT PINK. It is -the- most camouflaging color in existence.
/sarcasm
It would probably depend on how your spartan would function and such. Olive/Drab would probably be the default for most, steel as well. I could imagine Khaki/Brown colors for Spartans stationed at a dessert just for the sake of camouflage. White in Snowier areas. ect.

Ew. No.
Unlike Spartans II, wich accent color varied from fireteam to fireteam, Spartans IV’s whole cholor scheme (not just accent) varies from fireteam to firetam. So basically, since we haven’t seen a bunch of the fireteams, anything could be cannon at the moment.
Anything we want as long as it’d acceptable.
Each Spartan can have colors according to their fireteam “uniform”, like sage, steel, blue, or red. Any color is canon, but if someone’s armor color is a bright purple and all rainbowy and stuff, then it’s just for fun.
I would say that any colour that makes sense would be acceptable as “canon”. That means that the primary colours should go together in a way that doesn’t make the Spartans too “flashy”. So, stuff like pink and blue, or red and green wouldn’t make the cut.
The Original Spartan colors where Military combat green, with an all black under-suite and a Golden Visor.
However some groups wore Crimson Red as a FU to the enemy - not require to hide under drab camouflage colours.

When did that happen…?

I don’t know if that has any canonical support. But that’s why I made my armor Gold/Yellow in multiplayer.

If I really was a Spartan in the Halo Universe, I’d probably make a skull design, or something intimidating if I really wanted to say -Yoink!- you to the enemy.

You could always pull a Jonah and taunt them with an Elite head. I think Tartarus also had an Elite’s skull as a decoration on his shoulder too.

As much as I’d want to pull a Jonah on a hostile alien, gore just sickens me.
And I like you, Assassin. I’m going to send you a friend request.
