I think they should if able to, try to continue the game in a later date. The game looked promising and if armor were added in and multiplayer, it’d be a hit. No rush for it since we have Halo Infinite. But I’m not sure why they cancelled it, anybody know why?
I’d be pretty happy with 343 or a 3rd party company making the halo megablocks game as a spin-off like it was meant to be though I feel like its very unlikely. I managed to find online that they cancelled it cause it was early in development and they didn’t feel like it fit halo (h ttps://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/halo-mega-bloks-game-canceled/]
To be honest, as much as I hate to say it, I think it being cancelled is the best thing that could happen. Not that I dislike the concept by any means, but when TT games dominates the market with their LEGO video games, the Halo Mega Bloks game’s only selling point would be that it’s a Halo game.
Part of me really want something like this to play in lazy moments, but other part of me is really afraid of a game without much appeal only based on two strong IPs and a poor gameplay or story.
I believe the biggest reason was because the gameplay looked exactly like the LEGO games. There wasn’t enough to establish a difference between Mega Bloks and LEGO. I’d love to see the game become a reality but either there would need to be an overhaul or something would have to be discussed with LEGO.
