Hi I’ve pre ordered Halo wars 2 UE but have now decided I don’t want to play it after not finding the beta that appealing, can I cancel the pre order?
Did you pre order it at the xbox/windows store? You will have to chat with Xbox Support to cancel it.
You’re free to cancel it, but I’m curious why you choose to cancel it over the Blitz Beta? It’s one mode in the game, or was it the overall gameplay?

I felt the same. I just used the support chat on the Xbox website and the guy had it sorted in no time. Hope this helps

You shouldn’t do that. I mean Blitz is just one mode and there will be other modes available in the game. Plus the campaign as well.
i wanted to cancel due to blitz beta , but i will give them a chance i guess for proving that waiting was worth it , i hope they will deliver a good rts with the other modes available , but the thing that worries the most why they didn’t give us 2-3 days of deathmatch … 
i do hope they have a good product behind the wall

But they did! in the past Beta.
If you want, check some videos on youtube so you rest at ease about the other modes and the campaign. I personally think its going to be great. The last Beta, prior to Blitz, was really good as well.

To be honest that first beta killed all hype I had for the game, it was so buggy and ugly I uninstalled it the first day.
that being said, this beta fixed the issues and got me hyped again. Yeah blitz gets repetitive but it showcases the type of gameplay I love in an RTS, micro managing units to keep them alive and use abilities vs the Starcraft zergfest.
Only downside is now that I’m all excited, the wait sucks again

That’s really why I loved the first game, sure Zerging could win you the game, but if you work on heavy defense you’ll be able to lay waste to the weak enemies thrown at you early and your opponent then has to make up for lost resources spent on early units. With that, you can use your now larger resource pool to upgrade units while your opponents remain technologically inferior.
