I’m a Canadian, eh. And lately I’ve been feeling bad about ruining halo for everyone else with my laggy connection, eh. I think halo should only matchmake us laggy Canadians with other laggy Canadians, eh. That’s what I say, eh.
and us Australians should only play with other Australians, New Zealanders, and the occasional Japanese player.
I’m Canadian, and I never really meet any lag issues at all, even while playing with non-Canadians. Are you sure it isn’t just your internet that’s causing the issue?
Depends how close you are to the border. I get matched up with Americans all the time, no lag. It’s when I get matched up with someone from Russia that the game lags. (no offense, It’s because of distance) Maybe Matchmaking should be limited to continental search, with Australia being considered part of the Asian search.

You know, continental region filters aren’t a bad idea! It would give players a nice variety of players with whom to be matched up, while keeping the lag down!
Other games do this too, notably MMOs and RTS games, with different servers for different continents.

Don’t get me wrong my fellow Canadians, eh. I llike the fact that we can absorb 10 to 12 American head shots without dying thanks to our substandard communication network, eh. It just seems a little unfair to those greasy fat hamburger eaters, eh.
