I’ve seen the new file browser section and I can view my screenshots. However I don’t know if I’m just being stupid but I can’t seem to play videos from my file share?
The rendering feature isn’t available, so the ability to view your videos on the site also isn’t possible.

If you want to view/edit/etc. your saved films on computer, you have to purchase a capture card. However, if you have a DVD player capable of recording as well, there’s a much cheaper solution:
- Connect your Xbox to both the TV and the DVD device. It might be tricky a bit because the cables I’ve got with my console have a bump on them so I can’t connect both of them simultaneously. If the same applies for your console, you can replace the cables, or, you can try to cut the bump carefully.
- Once you have connected the devices, set the TV’s and the DVD’s input to the port you have the Xbox attached to.
- Start your film in Theater, and start recording with the DVD as well. (You’ll have to use the remote control, because probably the DVD’s interface won’t be available on the TV, since they aren’t connected or, if they are, the input ports are still different.
