As my xbox 360 console is the 4GB one, going on to File Browser on Halo Reach also comes up with ‘An xbox 360 harddrive is required…’
So, I bought an xbox 360 USB (16GB), thinking this would allow me to use it as a harddrive, but although it works fine; I am still unable to use File Browser to save gameplay to theatre, which is what I wanted to do. Is there not anyway I can do so by just using this USB?
In that case, I think you’re out of luck. Sorry to say it might just be time for an upgrade. Although I have limited knowledge about using a USB drive to store files.
Could you not just spend €40 on a 250GB Xbox 360 hard drive or €60 on a 320GB Xbox 360 hard drive? It’s 2012, it’s time to upgrade, especially due to the fact that Halo 4 will require 8GB’s of space to play Spartan Ops.

I won’t use up 250GB though, which is why I bought the 16GB USB.
You wanna make your games load up faster? THen you need that 250GB HDD to install your games on. Faster load times, less stress and heat on your system. It’s a win, win!

Well it is better than waiting until future games come out which will require you to download things like Halo 4 is going to, don’t bother wasting your time with USBs and invest in a 250GB HDD, doesn’t matter if you aren’t going to use it all up, it is always good to have the spare space.
