If you can’t which ones can you not unlock and how do you get them? How much Helmets and amour can you NOT get in a gold pack and which ones are they?

You can unlock everything in the game, except for a few emblems I believe? Since some were specific name-brands you would have to buy and you would get a emblem for buying the product. However, those promotions are now over. You can unlock 99% of armors now in gold packs, I did. Oh, and I almost forgot about the HCS armors, which are limited while they are out, new ones usually come around if there is a HCS event going on; the old HCS armors aren’t obtainable, possibly in the future they might be. The only armor you cannot unlock in a gold pack is Achilles, which is a Spartan Company driven effort to unlock.
In addition, Helioskrill armor used to be only be obtainable from completing MCC on legendary, however since new variants of the Helioskrill came out I’m pretty sure there was an announcement that stated the normal one could be obtained in gold packs as well from that point forward. I’m unsure, because I got the Helioskrill the hard way.

HCS armor is not in the req system. All else are. Achilles is in the system, but the requirements need to be met, before it unlocks.

Yeah I know, but I wanted to let him know about the HCS armors in the game that aren’t obtainable, even if they aren’t in the req system.
Almost all can besides limited time unlocks such as the Halo WCS gear.
Yes you can, but is very hard, and you will probably need money to buy promotional REQs or nightfall, or something else.
