Can you top this bad stat?

Ive played a lot of Reach over the past 8 years and, after encountering a player just now with 1.01 million FF kills and a whopping 120k deaths over 9200 games…what’s the worst stat line you guys have seen while playing? I’ve never seen anything even remotely that poor. That’s less than a ten k/d versus predictable and underpowered enemies that act in a preprogrammed manner.

jesus lol that’s pretty bad… like you’d expect SOME improvement over 9200 games.

Wow and I thought I played a lot of FF. Did you do that all in matchmaking or was that spread between MM and Custom Firefight?

Edit: I just realized that you encountered this person. Wish I could ask the person.

I know right?! The guy wound up going 122 and 10 on corvette lol. How can you play something THAT much and not get better at it?

Oh it’s all from FF matchmaking I assure you. As for my stats they’re something like 1.12 million kills and a much more reasonable 12.5k deaths with just under 6700 games. Custom firefight is just a waste of time, I only ever go into that for the various challenges that require it.

The sad part is they probably did improve over time. So starting out with like a 1:1 k/d ratio ha.

Or, they could just be giving their controller to their young child to fool around in tbh

With over a million kills…that would be an awful lot of a young kid fooling around. Even the kid would learn eventually though. I’m still shocked that anyone could have such a low k/d in firefight with that large of an amount of games having been played.

Arcadefight and the NEP variant are fairly simple modes, it’s easy to see the best weapon if you want to be “effective” .

Yes, you’re absolutely right about the simple and effective weapon parts…but what does your post have to do with my initial question of asking if you’ve seen worse stats than the ones I provided? I do think I forgot to mention, this player was also, IIRC, using the most efficient weapon and not partaking in the handicap settings.

Trying to lampshade things for help because the (likely) most played mode on Matchmaking Firefight make it hard to have “bad stats” if you know how to shoot.

I’ve had a lot to drink tonight since I started watching the Eagles game at 8:20 six hours ago. That being said, I’m very confused by your post. Lampshades for help?? I’m going to assume here that by “the most played” you mean arcadefight. And as such, yes, it’s kind of hard to die in this playlist unless you’re off-host with enemy priority(granted, the heretic rounds will occasionally get you deaths regardless). Without having enemy priority though it’s a rare thing to get killed…I really wish it were tied to host as all of us that frequent the playlist know that host in firefight grants a huge advantage.

Trying to give ideas about the reason of said bad stats if most of the games are from Arcadefight.

No offense, but neither of your posts had anything to do with whether or not you had seen any type of stat worse than the one I provided. Lampshades and this game have nothing to do with each other unless some of the buildings in the campaign feature them(and really, how many people bother with with that playlist). Again, said kid was not using a handicap setting and still went 122-10 on corvette in firefight as I was was killing a large percentage of the enemies before they could even get to him. I can’t believe after over a million FF kills any player could still be that bad.

I was confused by the numbers but it’s kills/deaths I guess ? In that case it’s not very surprising if said player always had a teammate getting most of the kills (like an average best of 180/more) in all his games.

10 deaths isn’t good at the same time, wasting time to respawn while everyone else kill stuff, if one player is a badass (2 players game) it’s perfect with all enemies going after him. It’s not helping.

For anyone curious, the game is available in my file share; just managed to upload it before it disappeared(was 23 out of 25 in my recent games)thanks to someone else on the forum messaging me and inquiring as to whom could be so poor at FF after so many games.

Real question is how does anyone have enough patience to play that much FF.

Great and awesome halo Player !
