Can you still rank up in Halo 3

I recently hopped on OG halo 3 on my Xbox one to see that my rank and exp was completely reset. I used to have 240 xp and now I have none. I tried leveling up but every time I win a game I don’t get anything. So can you still rank up or am I glitched?

Sounds like something is glitched - your Waypoint profile still reflects your 240 XP in Halo 3. Try restarting your Xbox or some other basic troubleshooting steps. There should not have been a rank reset.

Halo 3 was known to have issues displaying exp at times. This was fixed on the multiplayer disc that was bundled with ODST. I also remember hearing about sometimes you couldn’t gain exp despite winning which was some issue on the server end that required whoever manages that to fix it.

I’ve restarted my Xbox several times along with my 360 and it’s still the same, should I maybe uninstall it and reinstall it on my Xbox one?
