Can you still get the Helioskrill armor in Halo 5 for getting the legend achievement in 2017? I’m asking because somebody told me that you had to get it before Halo 5’s release.
I heard you can unlock it via Gold Packs. Which doesn’t make it exclusive anymore

It should, it’s just not exclusive anymore. Nothing really is exclusive anymore in Halo 5.

Yes, you definitely can. I got it at the end of last year (note: you must check your progress in Halo Waypoint. You’re only going to get the armor set if the website says you’ve completed every mission on legendary – the achievement itself is completely unrelated to the set, so pay attention to this fact)

That’s good to know. Just checked my service record on this website and so far everything is as it should be.

You dont get the same armour from the gold packs. What you get is a slight variation. Almost exacly the same but a little different.
What im wondering is if it is actually available through gold packs. Because if you guys didnt know there are two different versions of the Helioskrull helmet. One his extra strips. The one without I think is exclusive to the achievment.

There are three versions of Helioskrill. There’s the normal kind that you get for beating Halo CE - 4 on legendary. Then there’s the bloodgorger and warbound variations that you can get from gold req packs.

Yeah but I think the bloodgorger variant is the coolest so hopefully I’ll get it someday from a gold req pack.

Ya I agree it is the best. I wear it sometimes but usually I role with Timmy.

Nope. Just MCC.
Had this armor without even knowing how I got it lol as for the variation you can get through gold packs. Halo 5 has too many variations imo most of them look the same anyway

As you can see I finally got it. I guess this thread can be locked lol not really sure how that works
