- Yes you can still unlock it for Halo 5 even if you didn’t unlock/play the beta.
- From my knowledge the only way to unlock the armor is by getting the Legend achievement from the Master Chief Collection. Not from Halo 5.

It’s a difficult achievement that is time consuming so if I wasnt sure if I would get the armor I would ask too
My question is do you have to play odst to get it?

I remember reading it somewhere, and i think you can unlock it before Halo 5 launches,but im not sure, i just have that stuck in my mind for some reason

Yep, you can still get it by beating all Halo campaigns in MCC on Legendary.
Yeah you can still get any of the achievement based armor after the beta and I got both armors but let me say this as a quick side note i strongly suggest taking a break every now and then good luck to you all!

There was no point in going through that -Yoink- playing on legendary when someone who either played half or didn’t even play legendary just randomly come in and buy it. Takes away from the achievement you went through for someone to just buy it with little to no effort done.
