Hey guys I’ve been looking recently on how to change your Halo Reach Nameplate can you still equip your other nameplates I know Microsoft bought Halo in 2011 or 2012 i don’t know it was a long time ago…
I just want to know if anyone knows if you can change your nameplate or can’t change your nameplate…

I think that feature got removed. It’s something I feel is a requested feature by the community like the bungie flame helmet.

They should just make a thread discussing that you cannot and pin it up the top. The amount of these types of thread is ridiculous. It is always the same answer. People keep asking this because there is not direct message for them to see, please moderators, add a thread on plates, so hopefully people won’t have to ask these questions anymore.

Or why not just add it back into the game so everyone can be happy.

They shut the whole thing down. Poof - gone. I don’t know why 343 didn’t get the rights to it, it would be nice if they brought it back somehow, but it’s not going to happen.
Nope. Once Bungie no loner was working on/with Halo, the Halo Waypoint app no longer worked properly. You can’t even get the Military/CQB Helmets because the Waypoint app is broken. Though there has been talk that 343 was thinking about picking the Waypoint App back up.

you actually still can get the helmets since the xbox 360 waypoint app still works. I just got them all on my cousin’s account

It hasn’t worked for me for months if not a year at least. Every time I would open the Waypoint app on my 360, it would just freeze and crash. I looked it up on line and thousands and thousands of other players have been having the same issue…most of them saying that reinstalling the app wouldn’t even fix it.

I was born in 2000, so whatever the year is that is how old I am. I was 10 playing halo reach till the MCC (screw Halo 4). I just missed getting the flame helmet and the nameplates because I was too young to even know about them at the time…

Great, you should have no problems getting it. To confirm that you have it, find in the halo reach section that specific armor. Don’t forget that halo gamerscore are also required to unlock them.

No offense, but was the whole entire age thing necessary? Not trying to seem rude or anything but most people honestly could care less how old someone is. You could have got the same point across just by saying you played Halo Reach up until MCC. Besides, what does your post even have anything to do with the original OP’s question?

Booted up the Waypoint App on my 360 today and it loaded up just fine and is working now. I don’t know when they fixed it but it seems to be working for me now anyway. Now comes the annoying grind of soloing Halo 3 Legendary. Stuck at a little bump with a wraith on Salvo Highway (I think that is the mission name…it’s like the 3rd or 4th one) I can only imagine how big a pain in the -Yoink- it’s going to be when I get to the flood city with all those damn wall crawling spiker forms.
