Does anyone know if they explode when shot?
Not that I know of (and I hope they don’t, it IS the future, I would think we’d advanced beyond gas canisters sitting out in the open on a vehicle).
Their not gas cans, Warthogs don’t use gas. They use water, They are cans of water.
You can shoot at them but the hog runs on water so they don’t go boom

If they did i can’t see them doing any real damage to the vehicle. You just have a fiery trail!

Thanks for verifying. No clue why i didn’t know that.

now THAT, would be awesome! :]

Why would fuel cans for a hydrogen engine explode!? It’s water… Water don’t explode.

Isn’t the AR gas-operated?

^This.
OP, if you’re confused, Hydrogen is still a very flammable gas. Chances are, the engine seperates the hydrogen somehow, and is ran that way. Hence, the reason why the warthog explodes rather violently.

when guns are gas operated, it means that some of the gas expelled from the igniting powder is recycled and shot down a tube to re-charge the weapon for another shot. that way the bolt does not have to be manually charged every single time.
Yes, you can shoot them. But, don’t expect explosive results.
